Cailie has been in the insurance regulation and compliance industry for over 25 years. She started her insurance career at the (then) NY State Insurance Department. Since January 2007, she and her staff, including fellow Department alum, actuary Tom Hartman, have provided a wide variety of compliance consulting and advisory services to life insurance companies, independent marketing organizations, agencies, and producers. Cailie particularly enjoys the long-term, strategic compliance partnerships with her clients. In the precious few hours when Cailie is not working, she enjoys bike riding, yoga, CrossFit, paddle-boarding, and spending time with her family and their rescued domestic and farm animals. Cailie is active in her community and often joins forces fundraising with the Team in Training (TNT) organization. She rides to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of her father, who fought a lengthy battle with leukemia before his passing in January 2017.

Margaret has more than 20 years of business experience and is responsible for the day-to-day operations at CCS, including strategic planning, budget oversight, personnel, and resource management. Her sense of humor helps get us through high-pressure moments and difficult decisions. She also joins forces as a cycling enthusiast to raise funds with the Team in Training (TNT) organization.

Tom joined CCS after nearly four decades with the NY Department of Insurance (now the Department of Financial Services). During that time, Tom was involved with many innovations in life and annuity products in New York from the regulator’s side. Tom has a BS in Mathematics from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and is an Associate Member of the Society of Actuaries. In his free time, Tom enjoys reading (almost exclusively sci-fi and fantasy), tending his garden, and attending dance performances.

Suzanne brings her skills and attention to detail to each project she manages. She reads with precision and meticulous attention that goes a very long way toward assuring that life and annuity filings to the NYDFS, or any other insurance department, are accepted without objections. She works as hard at getting it right the first time on policy form filings as she does at getting her first serve in on the tennis court.
